Privacy: Unciphered links
This page covers unciphered.ghoroury.dev, the site that share links and the Unciphered App Clip use. The Unciphered app's own policy is linked from its App Store page; the app itself sends nothing.
What we count
When a link here is opened, or the App Clip reports a game, we record one anonymous event:
- what happened: a page was opened, the App Store link was tapped, or in the App Clip a puzzle was opened, solved, failed, abandoned, a hint was used, or "Get the app" was tapped;
- which puzzle, by its level number;
- where the link came from, when the link says so (for example, which ad);
- for games in the App Clip: time taken, hints used and lives lost;
- for web pages only: the kind of device (iPhone, Android, computer) and the country.
What we never collect
No cookies. No IP addresses. No device or advertising identifiers. No names, emails or accounts. Nothing we record can be tied to you or followed across apps and websites, and we do not track you. App Clip events carry no location at all.
Why
To learn which puzzles people enjoy as a first taste of the game, and which links and ads bring players. That's all the data is used for. It is not sold or shared.
Where it is kept
Events are stored in Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine, which keeps them for a limited time and then deletes them.
